The project involves the translation of modules, extensions, documentation, glossary and tutorials into Portuguese and Spanish. Also, it includes the creation of new tutorials with the capability to export them into presentations. The 3D Slicer for Latin America also offers assistance in coordinating Slicer demo events and tutorials. In sum, the overarching objective of this endeavor is to establish a novel software infrastructure capable of automating the localization, testing, and versioning of 3D Slicer tutorials.
The 3D Slicer for Latin America project aims to leverage 3D Slicer's internationalization infrastructure to localize the software into Spanish and Portuguese, and to develop novel software tools to enable the automated localization of tutorials.
