3D Slicer for Latin America

Welcome to the 3D Slicer for Latin America initiative. Our mission is to bridge the gap between advanced medical imaging technology and the regional community through three core objectives. We are localizing the 3D Slicer platform into Latin America Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese to enhance accessibility. Simultaneously, we are engineering a new Slicer extension to automate the localization, testing, and versioning of tutorial workflows. Beyond technical development, we are organizing hands-on Slicer training workshops and outreach events using localized version of 3D Slicer to empower the next generation of researchers and clinicians in Latin America.
