Description
The 3D Slicer for Latin America project was presented at the joint IX Latin American Congress on Biomedical Engineering (CLAIB 2022) and XVIII Brazilian Congress on Biomedical Engineering (CBEB 2022), held October 24–28, 2022, in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
This was one of the first public presentations of the project to the Latin American biomedical engineering community, showcasing the goals, approach, and initial progress of localizing 3D Slicer into Spanish and Portuguese and developing educational infrastructure for the region.
