Sonia Pujol presented the 3D Slicer for Latin America project at the Open Science in Latin America session of the 2024 CZI Open Science annual meeting. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) Open Science program supports open-source software tools and infrastructure essential for biomedical research.
The presentation highlighted the goals, progress, and impact of the project in making 3D Slicer more accessible to the Latin American biomedical community through localization into Spanish and Portuguese, and the development of the TutorialMaker infrastructure.
