Dr. Sonia Pujol's IEEE EMBS Invited Talk

Dr. Sonia Pujol has been invited by the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE EMBS) Student Chapter at the Universidad de la República (UdelaR) in Montevideo, Uruguay, to deliver a keynote lecture on June 13, 2026.

Her presentation will focus on 3D Slicer as a leading open-source platform for medical imaging and 3D digital modeling. This lecture is part of the Introduction to 3D Engineering in Medicine program, an initiative supported by the IEEE EMBS Major Project Initiatives Funding.

This engagement marks the first official activity of the Slicer for Latin America project in Uruguay.
